Inclusion lab

We are in the process of setting up projects in cooperation with artists from Bagamoyo (Tanzania), Hamburg and Berlin (Germany), and the Comox Valley (Canada) to increase acceptance of neurodiversity, provide school outreach by artists, and support the development of skills, art-based therapy approaches, and build community.

We’re currently working on different areas of cooperation:

• Arts and Awareness: We want to support local socio-cultural initiatives and artists raising awareness and acceptance for developmental disabilities (e.g. community theatre plays, awareness campaigns and events, creation of information materials like illustrated booklets)
• Arts and Empowerment: We engage with artists in Bagamoyo and support their activities for school outreach in local special needs classes (music and dance lessons, vocational skills, painting and visual arts)
• Arts and Diversity: We want to enable transcultural, long-term connections among diverse artists and people that are active in the fields of community empowerment and inclusion.
