**We support individual children and teenagers and would like for people to get an insight into their life situation. However, we aim to foster a connection, not to evoke pity or reinforce stereotypes about poverty and disability. We prioritize respecting consent, especially for those who may face cognitive challenges to express such. Therefore, we decided against using photos of the children and youngsters and seek to develop a visual concept that uses illustration, drawing and painting instead. We edited the names to respect the children’s privacy. We aim to collaborate with visual artists to creatively represent the people we work with, their everyday stories, and surroundings.
